Voters approved funding for the building by passing a no-tax-increase bond issue last April. This new facility will replace Gibson Technical Center, which is nearly 50 years old. The new career center will be much larger, allowing more students to attend and additional programs to be added. The career center serves 11 school districts throughout Stone, Taney, and Christian counties.
Reeds Spring Schools will break ground on its new career center on Friday, January 27 at 12:00 p.m. The new building will be located next to Reeds Spring High School.
